The Icehouse is part of Carleton University’s world class athletics facilities. The most comprehensive adult facility of its kind in central Ottawa, the $13 million state-of-the-art ice facility is the cornerstone of the Carleton Athletics Recreation Centre.
The main arena seats 500 spectators while the secondary rink accommodates 100 viewers. Operational year-round, the Icehouse features 2 NHL-sized ice surfaces with six dressing rooms per ice pad.

Exterior Entrances
Accessible main entrance leads to level 1 and features automatic sliding doors.
Interior Entrances
A bridge links level 2 to Athletics. No direct tunnel entrance to Ice House, but tunnel does serve Athletics.
Elevators
1 elevator serves levels 1-2. It features tacile and braille buttons, and an audible announcement system (beeps).
Washrooms
Accessible stalls in multi-stall washrooms on level 1 (open entry). Partially-accessible* universal washroom on level 2 (*no door opener).
